Earl was the seventh child of James Mathias Fox and Laura Lavernia Magee.
Earl and his first wife, Zera Taylor, had one child who died in childhood. After Earl and Zera divorced, he married Fannie Katherine Hinds. Earl and Fannie had two children. Earl is buried in the Clear Fork Cemetery between Luling and Lockhart. The children of Earl and Fannie were:

Walker was raised in Caldwell County. He married Maymie Watts, 10th child of John Wesley Watts and Betsy Doris Holmes. Walker served in the Navy during World War II, stationed in San Diego. Later he worked in the oil fields and raised cattle near Columbus. He retired from Cities Service Oil Company after 25 years and returned to the Luling-Lockhart area. Mayme was living in Luling in 1986. Their children are:
7.1.1. Patsy Ann Fox, born 29 August 1937 in Caldwell County. She married George Dwight Wheeler in Victoria in 1956. They had one son before their divorce in 1960.
7.1.1.1. Walker Dwight Wheeler, born 5 Oct 1958.
Patsy married Thomas John Popken 1n 1960 and and they were living in Ft. Worth in 1986. They have one daughter:

7.1.2. Doris Laniel Fox, born 5 Jun 1939 in Caldwell County. She married Andrew Thomas Leverett on 31 Dec 1961. He worked for Phillips Petroleum Company and retired after 36 years service. In 1986, they were living at 100 Meadow Drive, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74006. Dotsy supplied the information on the family of Walker Otis Fox. They have 3 chidren:

7.1.2.2. Betsy Diann Leverett, born 27 May 1967. In 1986, she was a sophomore at the Univ. of Oklahoma.

7.1.3. Walker Paul Fox, born 10 Dec 1944 in Caldwell County, Texas. He married Carol Schoebel of Columbus in May 1965. Paul was in the military service for about 10 years after finishing college. He later lived in Robstown in 1986. Paul and Carol have two sons.
7.1.3.1. Dwayne Walker Fox was a college freshman in 1986. 7.1.3.2. Terry Branson Fox, born about 1971.

Fred was the second son of Earl Walker Fox and Fannie Hinds. He lived in Columbus, Texas. One child has been identified.
7.2.1 Frederick Eugene Fox Jr, born in Caldwell County, Texas on 19 Sep 1946 and died 17 July 2002 in Ganado. He is buried in the Clear Fork Cemetery near Luling, Texas.
